RRIT was established in 2008 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, duly recognized by Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum.

The computer lab facilitates online teaching and hands-on experience. One of the prime concerns of the college is to ensure that every student is happy and cheerful individual. No stone has been left unturned in providing students the very best of facilities so that they can pursue their studies in a happy and cheerful atmosphere.

We, at RR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY give a big impetus to usage of english as we recognize the fact that most of the graduating pupils would seek a future abroad. With an experienced staff of tutors and lecturers, the institution is a door to all those who aspire for a bright future in the fields. Apart from the lectures students are assigned real-time industry experience.

Computer Lab

The college has four computer labs, each with a capacity to accommodate 100 students. The networked systems are configured to allow individual internet access from all the computers. Students have extensive and free access to internet for surfing as well as email. All the labs extended working hours enabling students to work late hours. In these state-of-the-art computer labs, equipped with the latest software and peripherals, students experience and get to work with absolutely the latest in technology.

Library

The library of RRIT is one of the finest in the industry. The library is very spacious, occupying 2 Floors with a seating capacity of 120 students. It has a large collection of bookd , journals and periodicals in each branch. more

Hostels

Separate hostel facility is available for both boys and girls with 24 hours security and other required facilities.
Hostel Fee Details with both maintenance and mess charges for the academic year 2012-13:

For Boys ----- Rs 32000/- per annum four sharing

For Girls ----- Rs 35000/- per annum four sharing
Double or Triple sharing will be as per requirement

Leisure and Sporting Activities

The institute has a very good facility for playing cricket, volley ball, basketball and football apart from many indoor games. Our college teams has been periodically participating in VTU and inter collegiate tournaments.

Every year sports events are conducted in our college campus under various sports events. Annual Sports day for boys & girls is celebrated every year and prizes are distributed to first three winners for each event.

Cafeteria

Students, staff and guests can avail the facility of the canteen. Simple, sumptuous, hygienic food is provided in the canteen at subsidised rates. North Indian, South Indian, Gujarathi, Nepali and style in both Vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods in Andhra, Karnataka and Kerala style prepared by expert chefs in a healthy and neat environment are Served.

Medical Services and Health Centre

The college has a modern, well equipped health care center where the students get medical attention and guidance on health related issues. The college is also registered with reputed hospital close to the campus in case of emergencies or specialized treatment requirements. Regular check-up camps are conducted for all students to monitor their health, 24 hour ambulance facility is provided to serve better.

Transport

The College has its own transport infrastructure to provide convenient conveyance for the students and staff from nearby areas.

PICKUP & DROP facilities are made available keeping in mind the convenience of all those who avail of the institution's transport facilites.

Auditorium

Built to international standards, the auditorium reflects, like everything else at the college, the commitment to provide students with the best of facilities.

Equipped with full fledged audio-visual equipment and a digital projection system, the 200 seat college auditorium is the stage for numerous important programmes through the year.
